Asset Management
To participate in spot trading, users must hold assets in their Spot Account. Asset balances in different account types are isolated and can only be used for their respective trading functions.
This section explains how to deposit, withdraw, and transfer assets within the AZX platform.
Account Structure Overview
AZX maintains separate accounts for different trading activities:
Spot Account
Used exclusively for spot trading
Holds actual tokens available for buying and selling in spot markets
Perpetual Account
Used for perpetual contract trading
Holds collateral for leveraged positions and margin requirements
Assets held in one account cannot be used directly for trading in the other account.
Depositing Assets
To begin spot trading, users must deposit supported tokens into their Spot Account.
When initiating a deposit:
Select the token you wish to deposit
Choose the supported blockchain network
Select the receiving account:
Spot Account
Perpetual Account
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the deposit
Assets deposited into the Spot Account become immediately available for spot trading once confirmed on-chain.
Withdrawing Assets
Users may withdraw supported tokens from their Spot Account at any time, subject to network conditions and platform rules.
To withdraw assets:
Select the token to withdraw
Choose the destination blockchain network
Enter the recipient address
Confirm the withdrawal request following the UI instructions
Withdrawals are processed on-chain and may require network confirmations before completion.
Transferring Assets Between Accounts
AZX allows internal transfers between the Spot Account and the Perpetual Account.
Key points to note:
Assets must be transferred to the Spot Account to be used for spot trading
Assets must be transferred to the Perpetual Account to be used as margin or collateral
Internal transfers do not involve on-chain transactions and are processed instantly
Users can transfer assets between accounts at any time through the platform interface.
Supported Tokens and Networks
Only supported tokens and blockchain networks are available for deposit and withdrawal.
When performing any asset operation, users should:
Verify the selected token
Confirm the correct network
Follow the platform UI instructions carefully
Depositing assets via an unsupported network or to an incorrect address may result in loss of funds.
Summary
Spot trading on AZX requires assets to be held in the Spot Account, with clear separation from the Perpetual Account. Users can deposit, withdraw, and transfer supported tokens through a guided interface, ensuring flexibility while maintaining clear account-level asset isolation.
Understanding the account structure and asset flow helps ensure smooth and secure spot trading operations.
