AZ Open Network

The AZ Open Network is an open, composable trading infrastructure designed to enable independent teams to build branded trading frontends while sharing unified liquidity, execution, and settlement through the AZ protocol.

At its current stage, the AZ Open Network operates under a controlled partnership model, referred to as the Channel Seat.

What Is AZ Open Network?

AZ Open Network is a decentralized orderbook-based trading network where:

  • Independent partners own and operate their own branded frontends

  • Liquidity is shared across the ecosystem

  • Trade execution is routed through a unified execution layer

  • Settlement and core protocol logic are anchored by AZ Axis

The goal of the AZ Open Network is to build an open trading ecosystem that combines:

  • Brand autonomy for partners

  • Deep, shared liquidity for users

  • Transparent, protocol-level value capture

Core Architecture

Unified Execution and Liquidity Aggregation

AZ Open Network aggregates orderbook depth across all partner channels to provide best execution for traders, regardless of the frontend they use.

Key characteristics include:

  • Unified execution routing across partner channels

  • Shared global liquidity by default

  • Consistent execution logic and market behavior

  • A single settlement and clearing framework

Settlement Layer: AZ Axis

AZ Axis serves as the settlement and value anchoring layer of the AZ Open Network.

  • High-performance, low-latency orderbook engine

  • Responsible for:

    • Trade settlement

    • Fee accounting

    • Risk controls

    • Data integrity

Ecosystem Value Capture

AZ is a decentralized blockchain community where value is captured first at the protocol layer.

Fee Flow Overview

  1. Users pay base maker and taker fees according to the protocol fee schedule

  2. Fees are collected by the AZ Protocol

  3. Any partner channel fees (if applicable) are recorded and distributed separately

  4. Revenue distribution is transparent and verifiable

This design ensures alignment between the protocol and its partners while maintaining fee transparency.

Fee Structure and Partner Flexibility

Partners can customize user-facing pricing models while leveraging shared liquidity.

  • Protocol fees are governed by a transparent, tier-based system

  • Partner channels may apply additional fees at their discretion

  • All protocol-level fees are managed and enforced by the AZ protocol

This approach allows partners to balance commercial flexibility with ecosystem-wide consistency.

Shared vs Customized Orderbooks

AZ Open Network supports flexible orderbook configurations while preserving a unified user experience.

Shared Orderbooks (Default)

  • Partners access global AZ Axis liquidity

  • Assets are shared across all channels

  • Deeper liquidity and tighter spreads for users

Customized Orderbooks (Optional)

  • Partners may request isolated liquidity pools for specific markets

  • Internally mapped to partner-specific orderbooks

  • Still presented with a unified trading interface to users

This design enables advanced liquidity strategies without fragmenting the user experience.

Channel Seat (Current Phase)

At the current stage of the AZ Open Network, all partners participate under the Channel Seat model.

Channel Seat Characteristics

  • Partners operate branded trading frontends

  • Partners route users and traffic into the AZ ecosystem

  • Liquidity is shared across the network

  • Partners participate in co-marketing and ecosystem growth

Asset and Oracle Management

To ensure market safety and integrity:

  • Partners cannot list assets directly

  • Oracle configuration is managed exclusively by the AZ Core Team

  • Unified oracle standards are enforced across all markets

This controlled approach minimizes systemic risk while delivering a frictionless trading experience.

AZ Responsibilities Under Channel Seat

Under the Channel Seat model, AZ is responsible for:

  • Verifying asset configurations

  • Managing oracle sources and price integrity

  • Enforcing unified risk parameters

  • Ensuring fair execution and settlement

  • Maintaining consistent market behavior across channels

This structure allows partners to focus on user acquisition and frontend innovation while AZ ensures protocol-level safety.

Partner Co-Marketing Opportunities

Channel Seat partners are recognized as key members of the AZ ecosystem and may participate in:

  • Joint branding initiatives

  • Co-hosted campaigns and events

  • Educational content collaboration

  • Cross-community exposure and promotion

Partner visibility may be featured across AZ ecosystem materials and communication channels.

Transparency and Trust

Transparency is a core principle of the AZ Open Network.

  • Fee flows are transparent and protocol-enforced

  • Execution logic is consistent across channels

  • Key data is verifiable at the protocol level

  • Market rules are applied uniformly to all participants

This approach strengthens user confidence and ensures fairness across the ecosystem.

Summary

The AZ Open Network combines shared infrastructure with independent brand freedom. Through the Channel Seat model, partners can rapidly deploy branded trading experiences while benefiting from shared liquidity, unified execution, and transparent value capture.

This controlled initial phase enables AZ to maintain strict market safety standards while laying the groundwork for a more decentralized and permissionless future.
