AZ VIP System
The AZ VIP System is designed to reward active traders within the AZ ecosystem by offering progressively lower trading fees for both Spot and Perpetual markets. VIP status is determined based on a user’s aggregated trading activity across all AZ-powered trading venues.
Overview
AZ provides liquidity aggregation infrastructure that enables multiple partner frontends to access and share the same underlying liquidity. As a result, trading activity conducted through any AZ-powered interface contributes toward a user’s total trading volume for VIP evaluation.
Within the AZ ecosystem, total trading fees may consist of:
Protocol-level trading fees, charged by AZ
Frontend or channel fees, which may be independently applied by third-party interfaces or partners
The AZX VIP Program applies exclusively to protocol-level trading fees charged by AZ.
As the flagship decentralized exchange within the AZ ecosystem, AZX does not apply any additional frontend or channel fees. Therefore, for trades executed directly on AZX, the fee rates shown in this document represent the actual maker and taker fees paid by users.
VIP Tier Qualification
How is my VIP tier determined?
Your VIP tier is determined by your rolling 14-day trading volume, aggregated across:
Spot trading
Perpetual trading
The trading volume is calculated in USD equivalent and includes all eligible trades executed within the AZ ecosystem, regardless of which frontend or integration is used.
To qualify for VIP1 or higher, a minimum rolling 14-day trading volume of $500,000 USD is required.
When does my VIP tier update?
VIP tiers are evaluated daily at 00:00 UTC
Once the trading volume requirement for a tier is met:
The corresponding VIP tier is assigned immediately
The updated fee rates take effect without delay
If multiple VIP tier thresholds are met simultaneously, the highest applicable tier will be applied
How long does my VIP tier remain active?
After attaining a new VIP tier, the associated benefits remain active for 14 days
During this 14-day period:
If your rolling trading volume continues to meet the tier requirement, the VIP status is extended for another 14 days
If your trading volume falls below the current tier threshold after the 14-day period, your VIP tier will be adjusted downward accordingly
The updated tier (whether upgraded or downgraded) will then remain active for 14 days from the time of adjustment
VIP Benefits
What are the benefits of being an AZX VIP?
VIP users enjoy reduced trading fees across both Spot and Perpetual markets. Higher VIP tiers unlock progressively lower maker and taker fees, improving capital efficiency and reducing overall trading costs.
VIP fee discounts apply exclusively to protocol-level trading fees charged by AZ. Any additional fees imposed by third-party frontends or partners are not affected by VIP status.

Important Notes
Trading volume is calculated on a rolling 14-day basis, not by calendar periods
All eligible trades across AZ-powered platforms are aggregated into a single volume metric
VIP fee discounts apply only to protocol-level fees charged by AZ
Frontend- or partner-imposed fees, if any, are not discounted under the VIP program
Summary
The AZX VIP Program aligns incentives across the AZ ecosystem by rewarding traders based on their total trading activity, rather than restricting benefits to a single interface. By aggregating liquidity and volume across all AZ-integrated platforms, the VIP system ensures a fair, transparent, and consistent fee structure for active participants.
