AZ VIP System
The AZX VIP System is designed to reward active traders on AZX by offering progressively lower trading fees for Spot and Perpetual markets. VIP status is determined based on your trading volume on AZX. (Prediction market fees follow a separate dynamic model and are documented below.)
Overview
AZverse provides liquidity aggregation infrastructure that enables multiple network partners (independent front-ends) to access and share the same underlying liquidity. Each network partner operates its own venue, sets its own partner fee, and runs its own fee and VIP program independently.
The AZX VIP Program described here applies to AZX only. Your VIP tier is based on your AZX trading volume, and the rates shown are AZX's fees. Trading volume on other network partners does not count toward your AZX VIP tier.
Within AZverse, the total trading fee a user pays on any given venue is composed of:
AZverse protocol base fee — the shared, protocol-level fee charged by AZverse
Partner fee — an additional fee applied by the network partner operating that venue
AZX is itself a network partner on AZverse, and applies its own partner fee. The maker and taker fee rates shown in this document are AZX's fees — that is, the actual, final fees paid by users trading on AZX, already inclusive of AZX's partner fee on top of the AZverse protocol base fee.
Because each network partner sets its own partner fee, other network partners may charge total fees that differ from the AZX rates shown here.
VIP Tier Qualification
How is my VIP tier determined?
Your VIP tier is determined by your rolling 14-day trading volume on AZX, combining:
Spot trading
Perpetual trading
The trading volume is calculated in USD equivalent and includes only your trades executed on AZX. Trading on other network partners is not counted toward your AZX VIP tier.
To qualify for VIP1 or higher, a minimum rolling 14-day trading volume of $500,000 USD (Spot and/or Perpetual on AZX) is required.
When does my VIP tier update?
VIP tiers are evaluated daily at 00:00 UTC
Once the trading volume requirement for a tier is met:
The corresponding VIP tier is assigned immediately
The updated fee rates take effect without delay
If multiple VIP tier thresholds are met simultaneously, the highest applicable tier will be applied
How long does my VIP tier remain active?
After attaining a new VIP tier, the associated benefits remain active for 14 days
During this 14-day period:
If your rolling trading volume continues to meet the tier requirement, the VIP status is extended for another 14 days
If your trading volume falls below the current tier threshold after the 14-day period, your VIP tier will be adjusted downward accordingly
The updated tier (whether upgraded or downgraded) will then remain active for 14 days from the time of adjustment
VIP Benefits
What are the benefits of being an AZX VIP?
VIP users enjoy reduced trading fees on AZX across Spot and Perpetual markets. Higher VIP tiers unlock progressively lower AZX maker and taker fees, improving capital efficiency and reducing overall trading costs.
The fee rates in this document apply to trading on AZX. Fees charged by other network partners are set independently and may differ.

The following table shows AZX's maker and taker fees under the AZX VIP Program. These rates are the final fees paid by users trading on AZX, inclusive of the AZverse protocol base fee and AZX's partner fee.

Prediction Market Fees
Unlike Spot and Perpetual markets, which use flat fee rates, Prediction market fees are dynamic — they scale with how uncertain the outcome is. A share priced near 0.50 (a coin-flip) costs the most, while a share priced near 0.01 / 0.99 (near-certain) costs almost nothing.
Fee formula
Where PM_Category_Rate differs by prediction market category:
Sports
0.03

Example
For a share priced at 0.2, with a PM_Category_Rate of 0.03:
A single share is charged:
0.03 × 0.2 × (1 − 0.2)= 0.0048 USDT100 shares cost:
0.03 × 0.2 × (1 − 0.2) × 100= 0.48 USDT
Taker fee by share price (100 shares, Sports category)
Derived from the formula above (Fee = 0.03 × Price × (1 − Price) × 100):

The fee curve is symmetric around 0.50, peaking at the point of maximum uncertainty and approaching zero as the outcome becomes near-certain.
Important Notes
Trading volume is calculated on a rolling 14-day basis, not by calendar periods
Only your AZX trading volume (Spot + Perps) counts toward your VIP tier; volume on other network partners is not included
The fee rates in this document are AZX's fees (AZverse protocol base fee + AZX partner fee) — the final fees paid when trading on AZX
Other network partners set their own partner fees, so their total fees may differ from AZX's
Prediction market fees follow the dynamic formula above and are not flat-rate like Spot/Perps; additional market categories beyond Sports may be added over time
Summary
The AZX VIP Program rewards active AZX traders with progressively lower Spot and Perpetual trading fees based on their rolling 14-day AZX trading volume. It provides a fair, transparent, and predictable fee structure for AZX participants. Other network partners operate their own fee and VIP programs independently.
